Heathrow taxi charges

Every cab to Heathrow is equipped with a taximeter to calculate the fare for each ride. The taximeter normally calculates the maximum price depending on the time of day, the distance travelled, and the speed of the LHR taxis. It is also the responsibility of the drivers to agree to any hiring for a drive of up to 12 miles or 20 miles, from Heathrow Airport, unless there is a valid reason for refusal. If the destination is in Greater London, the hire goes up to 1 hour. Once the journey distance reaches about six miles, the taxi fare rate changes.

You can explore this in detail on this website.

Fares and times are subject to change and may not match the information on the website, in case of delays and heavy traffic.
